The Community Library holds sources the community may use — with a confirmed legal basis, each carrying its own rights profile. My Study Space is your own future place to learn. They are not the same thing, and nothing moves from one to the other without the contribution lifecycle.

Medicine applies the universal library model shared by every world — the rules below are that model, illustrated with medical sources.

Community Library
Material with a confirmed basis for use by the community:
- public domain
- compatible Creative Commons / Open Access
- own work with granted rights
- rightsholder permission
- other verified legal basis
Visible to everyone. Every entry stays linked to its source and its rights status. Entry only through the contribution lifecycle — never straight from a file picker.
My Study Space
Your future personal space for your own learning: notes, reading list, progress, your own materials, your Common Table threads.
Private use, storage or processing of protected material remains rights-, licence- and jurisdiction-dependent. Buying a book does not by itself define what may be stored or processed here — that is decided per source, per licence, per jurisdiction, later.
Current prototype: NO REAL STORAGE · NO REAL UPLOAD. My Study Space is an architectural concept, not a working cloud drive.
Nothing becomes community material because it sits in someone's study space. Community Library entries come only out of the contribution lifecycle: pre-check → submitted → quarantined → checked → accepted.
Rights profile
Every source gets its own rights profile.
Rights are not one switch. For each source the future system records separately what is allowed. One flag never implies another — and library use is not the same legal act as training a model.
RAG / library use ≠ MODEL_TRAINING. Answering with quotes and links from a source is library use. Training or fine-tuning model weights on it is a different act and needs its own rights class — absent by default for every entry.

Architecture note
The knowledge object behind every entry.
Built once for Medicine, reusable for other worlds. The fields already leave room for a future Law world (DE law first, other jurisdictions as separate branches) without a rewrite — for this medicine demo entry jurisdiction is simply not applicable.
